I’m leaning towards the fuse number being #17, and my fuse diagram designated that the location to which would be in the boot fuse box - however, after many failed attempts I still cannot locate my boot fuse box! Any help/insight would be much appreciated! Cheers! 1. Put the key in the ignition. 2. Switched to position 2 - all dash lights turned on as usual. 3. Turned key to start engine. 4. Nothing happened, no starter crank, dash lights did not turn off, auxillary fan under the hood turned on and wont stop. 5. removed the key and re-inserted and tried to start the engine; still nothing happened as before. Apparently the engineers did not believe there was a suitable location on the other side of the engine compartment where the battery is located. If you look above the battery label you will notice an air conditioning label as well - nowhere near any air conditioning component. If you ever had any kind of issues with your locks, central locking system, vacuum pump, door locks, alarm, dome lamps, ect. The fault was the K40 relay module, as suspected. I replaced the whole module, but it was probably a failure of the relay controlling the fuel pump (2nd from left when viewed from the side with the fuses). If my interpretation is correct, the no cranking symptom is a consequence of the failure of the K40 module to supply power to the fuel pump. Popped the hood (alarm again). Pulled the 35 and 37 fuses. BNmxH.
